What Crew. is
Crew. is a meeting place for professionals and the YouTube channels or agencies looking for collaborators. You accept these terms on the welcome screen, before registering or signing in: without accepting them you cannot enter.
Crew. is not your employer and not your client. Agreements are concluded directly between the two parties. Crew. is not a party to the contract, does not negotiate it and does not guarantee its performance.
Who can sign up
You must be at least 16 years old and provide truthful information. An account belongs to a real person or organisation: fake or impersonated accounts are closed.
The pay is always stated
Every posting must state a figure. This is not a recommendation: without pay the posting is not published, and the rule is enforced by the system.
No commission for the people who work
People looking for work pay no commission on the pay they receive. Today Crew. has no paid plans. If we introduce any in the future, they will concern profile visibility and the publication of postings, never a percentage of what you earn.
Payments
At present Crew. does not handle payments: the two parties agree and settle directly between themselves. If we introduce a managed payment service in the future, it will be optional and governed by additional conditions presented to you before you activate it.
Invoicing and professional status
Correct invoicing, tax regime and contractual status are the responsibility of the parties. Crew. provides tools, such as VAT number verification through VIES, but does not provide tax or legal advice.
Reviews
Reviews are mutual and become visible only once both parties have written theirs. They must concern the collaboration that actually took place. False, extortionate or offensive reviews are removed.
Content you upload
Your portfolio remains yours. By uploading it you only authorise us to show it inside Crew. so that people hiring can find you. You must hold the rights to what you upload.
Prohibited behaviour
- Publishing postings without real pay, or misleading ones
- Asking for free work and calling it a trial
- Moving the negotiation outside the app to get around the rules on pay transparency
- Harassment, discrimination, illegal content
- Automatically extracting other users' data
Zero tolerance
There is no tolerance for objectionable content or for users who abuse others. Harassment, threats, discrimination, sexually explicit, violent or illegal content, spam and scams are removed as soon as they are reported, and the account that posted them is closed. Every report is read by a person within 24 hours.
From the app you can report a profile or a single message, and block anyone you no longer want to hear from: a blocked person can no longer write to you or see your postings.
Suspension
We may suspend or close an account that violates these terms. You can delete yours at any time from the app settings.
Limitation of liability
Crew. is provided as is. We do not guarantee that you will find work or collaborators, nor are we responsible for the conduct of other users. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to what you have paid to Crew. in the previous twelve months.
Governing law
Italian law applies. Consumers retain the mandatory rights provided by the law of their country of residence.
